
The role will oversee a defined programmes portfolio and be responsible for programme management, progress and financial reporting to the NZ Aid programme, the development of new government funding proposals, and liaising/collaborating with colleagues in New Zealand as well as across the Leprosy Mission Global Fellowship.
The successful applicant will be part of a programmes team including staff and external consultants. You will have a sound understanding of development, climate mitigation and public health issues, proven experience in managing/reporting government funded projects, and the ability to develop and write successful proposals for institutional funders.
You will have project management skills (desk and field-based) including supporting capacity building with implementing partners, undertaking monitoring activities, tracking progress against established outcomes, and developing collaborative relationships within the sector. The role involves significant international travel.

We incorporate working from home and in our conveniently situated Auckland office on Dominion Road with bus stops and parking. Flexibility extends to finding the right person for the role and a mutually agreed working arrangement.
