For people severely disabled by leprosy, you are also their rock.
Send a Gift for Nepal so people like Kamala can build a life beyond leprosy.
In September 2024, the Leprosy Mission Anandaban Hospiral in Nepal was struck by devastating landslides caused by intense rainfall and a sudden cloudburst.
The steep terrain of the hospital grounds was severely affected, leading to significant damage to several buildings.
Please send a Gift for Nepal today, to enable us to continue our rebuilding work and our ongoing treatment for those recuperating in the hospital from the toll of leprosy.
Your gift could help rebuild our facilities in Anandaban and help someone overcome major disabilities, providing a new way of making a living, and ultimately find new life in Christ, by encountering the love of Jesus, just as Kamaka has.
Your gift could be:
Physio - $20
Five limb-loosening sessions to restore confidence and movement in a body trapped by leprosy's rigour.
Bandages - $25
Fresh clean wraps to protect leprosy-caused wounds, ulcers and injuries.
Counselling - $55
Leprosy damages the body and the spirit. The mental anguish can be overwhelming, with a disease that disables so severely and carries such community stigma. Your gift will restore someone's sense of self-worth.
Hospital Bedding - $125
Comfortable and quality bedding to aid rest and recovery while in hospital.
Hospital Bed - $300
Every hospital bed is precious. Your gift will keep on giving for many years to come, providing rest and recuperation for hundreds of people affected by leprosy.
Reconstructive Hand Surgery - $550
Untreated leprosy causes the hands to become clawed. People lose movement. Daily tasks become impossible. Your gift of surgery unlocks rigid fingers, making daily life doable again.
Prosthetic Limb - $550
The priceless chance to stand and walk again, for those who have lost a leg to leprosy.
Patan Clinic Conversion to 30-bed hospital - $12,750
As monsoon season approaches, we're deeply concerned for the safety of our patients and staff at Anandaban. The land beneath the hospital remains unstable after last year's landslides, so we're urgently needing to convert Patan Clinic to a 30-bed hospital.
That's 30 hospital beds and associated bedding to ensure uninterrupted care during monsoon rains.
Out of all the darkness of the dreadful landslide came a glorious ray of light. The story of Kamala who trapped in the landslide cried out to God and He heard her cry!
